In August 1902 D & C Blume purchased the business at the
corner of Main and Oak.
It moved across Oak Street and operated for many years,
it was owned by Jenkins and Bates.
It was then sold to Coleman and Seat, later Coleman
bought out Seat.
Wenell and Georgia Montgomery bought the business on
Nov. 10, 1941 and moved it back to its original and current location.
Kirk and Pauline Wines purchased the business on Jan. 1,
1983 and continue to operate it today.
Old Corner Drug specializes in compounding and serves to
Hospice Patients.
Pharmacist Kirk Wines and Harry Suprkamp have years of
experience in serving patients. Cashier Virgie McCollum has been
an employee since 1993, as well as the Pharmacy Techs, who
have been employees for multiple years.
