
Born: November 20, 1951
Retired from the US Postal Service after 30
years of service. He served as Supervisor at the West
Post Office for 5 years and served as Postmaster of
the West Post Office for 21 years. He held the longest
tenure as Postmaster for the city of West since West
was founded
Currently he raises cattle and farming operation.
He is also a farmhand for a local farmer
Mr. Kaluza has served on the board of the West
Community Hospital.
He currently serves on the West Volunteer
Ambulance Board and has for the past 29 years.
He is a past officer and board member of the
West Chamber of Commerce, an Associate Westfest
Director, is active in the St. Mary’s Church of The
Assumption as an Usher and Eucharist Minister, is an
officer for SPJST Lodge 54 of West and has been for
the past 20 years, and is an insurance sales agent for
the SPJST.
He has been married to Janice (Matus) Kaluza
for 34 years and they have 5 children, and 7
grandchildren
His son Brandon was diagnosed at age 5 with
ALL Lukemia and went to MD Anderson Hospital for 5
years of treatment and is currently 26 years of age and
very healthy.
